Cala Bonita

Ibiza Town • 38.928643, 1.494246 • Ibiza

As you drive through Ibiza’s little village of Jesus, you will come to the rustic, yet chic little restaurant, Cala Bonita; a little piece of paradise which sits upon the shores of S’Estanyol beach. Previously known as PK2, Cala Bonita is now a stylish and sophisticated beach bar and restaurant under new ownership.

Run by a fabulous team of South African and Australian born restauranteurs, Cala Bonita has a passion for fresh, local and seasonal produce which is used to create fabulous Mediterranean cuisine. With a strong focus on seafood, everything on the menu is perfectly prepped and handmade.

Cala Bonita’s open plan kitchen and restaurant means its food is presented beautifully and served from mid day till 9pm. Luscious lunches and light bites are also served in the main restaurant between 12pm and 7pm and the restaurant’s bar is positioned between two shady palm trees on the beach. Here, creative conductors of the cocktail craft mix marvelous creative drinks along with a wide range of spirits, soft drinks and fresh juices all day long.

Enjoy your fabulous food on the beach or along the deck whilst the beautiful ocean glistens before your eyes. The Cala Bonita team are constantly working on inventive signature dishes. The smoked and salted Pasta Sardi (fruits of the sea) and Sobrasada (sausage) with fresh muscles; a dish representing when the mountains meet the sea, are all favourites. More traditional dishes such as the Sardinian fregola pasta with chilli, garlic, tomato and red wine and the fresh Calamari, prawns, muscles, clams and crabs are also fabulously flavoursome.

The restaurant also offers tasty desserts, such as the homemade ice creams and sorbets, of which there are many flavours.

The atmosphere at Cala Bonita is one of total relaxation and the standard and quality are both extremely high. And when it comes to musical ambience, only the most talented DJs and live acts are allowed to play at Cala Bonita. Magical melodies and funky tunes blast all day long and into the evening; providing a soul and retro vibe under a strict “no commercial” rule, with smooth instrumentals and vocals from the 70s and 80s.
