Cala Saona restaurant is located in a quaint little bay off Formentera’s west coast and is part of the large hotel complex with the same name. Positioned in the sandy bay, Cala Soana has stunning views of the sparkling sea and is enclosed on either side by sheer and subline cliffs. Both the hotel and restaurant are sleek and elegant; oozing luxury and sophistication.

Cala Saona restaurant is open all day. In the morning, the restaurant serves beautifully prepared breakfasts consisting of blooming breads, croissants, and healthy granola cereals, along with hot options such as eggs and pancakes, as well as an abundance of fresh fruits.

Later on in the day, the restaurant serves some of the most delectable selection of tapas dishes. Crispy salads and light bites are also available and serve as the perfect lunchtime meal.

In the evenings, the menu boasts intense flavours of local gastronomy, merging both traditional dishes with modern cuisine and presented in avant-garde, original and beautiful designs. The creation of such dishes involves local produce from the Pityusic Islands and from Formentera itself. Meat and fish dishes are immensely popular and are notorious for their fabulous presentation and careful preparation. Formenteran Lamb is a guest favourite. The tender meat bathes in juicy sauces and comes together to produce one succulent and sumptuous meal. Cala Saona’s lobster dish is also popular and is served with either soft potatoes and fried eggs, or with an Asian sauce and Thai vegetables.
